F the fees... those are my thoughtsIsnt music Art?Isnt there some law or something saying that art is public domain?I could be wrong...
I believe that the gov't would probably shave off A LOT of that money to keep for themselves.
Impossible to fairly/properly distribute the 75 dollars. Fail idea.
They should just implement the thing were you would pay a monthly fee to listen to all music. I would be soooo down for that.
pretty dumb idea
seriously is it possible to love the record companies any more?
its a trick to sell more zunes! following ;)
Meh it doesn't bother me because with my EVO I don't even use my ipod anymore. Plus it dies the other day. So I'm ipod-less for now. But it would make sense for them to try and "make-up" for the so called millions the music industry has lost due to piracy.
It will never pass, it is a frivolous attempt to gain more money. There are hundreds of these made every year and they very rarely are passed.
I don't think this will ever come into fruition. Just something for the music industry to erk listeners.
@pft public domain art is when the copyright on the art is no longer existing which causes it inn return to be public domain@archon6 i totally agree with your statement.
Pretty stupid ideea,imho.
my thoughts are the the gov't shouldn't have anything to do with hardware devices that I own.
i own a zune so i couldn't care less what they do to ipod.
That law what be ridiculous.
People should support bands they like but i understand why people pirate. This fee however is rediculous
So they're going to charge us to listen to music, even if we don't have any music on our ipods? I call that TYRANNY.
